Through years of research and experience in the diamond servicing industry, we have developed the Soaking Process, a dedicated treatment for diamonds with heavy inclusions.
During the Soaking Treatment, diamonds remain in the process chamber for 3–4 days at a controlled and stable temperature, while the pressure is continuously adjusted throughout the treatment. This process helps to significantly reduce natts (black pique) and other unwanted impurities, improving the overall cleanliness and appearance of the diamonds.
The source documentation reports remarkable results in the treated diamond parcels and indicates that, as a general trend, the improved appearance and quality of the diamonds may lead to a significant increase in their commercial value.
